Theory Test and Practical Test Price Increases
As of 1st April 2008, the Driving Standards Agency has increased the price of both the theory test and practical driving test. The theory test now is £30.00 whilst the practical driving test is £56.50 for weekdays and £67.00 for weekends.
Changes to the Theory Test
As of 3rd September 2007, there are 50 multiple choice questions to answer on the theory test, with a pass mark of 43. (This has increased from the previous number of 35 questions with a pass mark of 30.)
The hazard perception part remains the same - 14 video clips with a pass mark of 44.
