The Pass Plus scheme has been set up by the Driving Standards Agency and some insurance companies to improve on your driving skills once you've passed your driving test. Why? Well, just look at some statistics:-

- Almost 30 per cent of all driver fatalities or serious injuries in the UK during 2005 were aged 17-24 (yet new drivers comprise only 10% of all licence holders).
